Best Wishes – Engagement Card
This card was inspired by the Stampingbella Challenge and the theme was Love/Wedding/Anniversary. http://stampingbella.com/blog/its-bellarific-friday-sistahs-a-sketchypoo/
I made this card with my sister-in-law in mind who just got engaged. I tried to make it look like her! I think I succeeded?!
For this card, I used:
Stampingbella – Balloonabella stamp and die
Studio Katia – Stitched Creative Rectangles
Hero Arts – Many Everyday Messages for the Best Wishes Sentiment
I started by cutting a piece of patterned paper that was slightly smaller than my 4.25 x 5.5 inch card. I adhered it to a top-folding card made out of Neenah white 80# cardstock. I cut two stitched rectangles from the Studio Katia dies out of pink cardstock and adhered them to the card. I stamped the Balloonbella girl on Neenah white cardstock, colored it with my Prismacolor colored pencils, cut it out with the coordinating die and attached it to the center of the card with pop dots. I added some clear Wink of Stella to the girls dress, hair and balloons for some shine! I stamped the best wished sentiment on the bottom of the card with my Distress Oxide worn lipstick ink. Such a pretty color! I colored over the sentiment with my Wink of Stella as well. To finish off the card, I added a few pink sequins and some drops of Nuvo crystal drops in clear. I didn’t want to add to much because I wanted to keep the spotlight on the girl.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope that you enjoyed this card. It is going to someone very special 🙂 Happy Crafting!
