MFT 2017 Card Design Superstar Challenge

When this Bitty Bears stamp set came out, I knew I had to have it! They are so adorable and so versatile!

I started my CAS card by using the MFT Wonky Stitched Squares to cut a square out of my Neenah white 80# cardstock. I chose the second largest square.

I then stamped the bear holding the heart on the same white cardstock with MFT black ink because it is Copic friendly. I created an identical card before this one and left the heart solid but thought it needed more color. ┬áSo, I took my ruler and added some lines to the heart with a fine line pen. I chose colors of the rainbow from my Copic collection – R24 and R27 for red, YR04 and YR68 for orange, Y11 and Y13 for yellow, YG13 and YG17 for green, B24 and B26 for blue, and V15 and V17 for purple. I did some very simple shading. My little bear is colored in E25, E27 and E53 (nose).

I added the sentiment ‘Here’s a Hug’ from the stamp set above the bear and two hearts from the same stamp set using MFT black ink. I colored one of the hearts orange and one purple and then added the square to a card measuring 4.25 x 5.5 inches with strong adhesive. To tie the card together, I added two more hearts to the main card base and colored them red and blue.

I hope you enjoyed this Clean and Simple Card and this adorable bear!
